Burger Week returns to Orange County September 20–26, turning the humble burger into a week-long excuse to eat your way across the county. The concept is simple: nearly 70 restaurants, from casual harborside grills to white-tablecloth dining rooms, each build a special burger and price it into one of several tiers, from a $15 lunch-counter classic up to a $30–35 chef's showcase (Hijinx even has a $90 five-pound giant for the truly committed). There's no ticket, no pass, and no app to download — you just walk in anytime during the week and order off the Burger Week menu. For us, the appeal is local: fourteen spots in Newport Beach and four in Costa Mesa are participating, which means a proper crawl is doable in an afternoon, from Lido Marina Village down through Mariners' Mile to Corona del Mar, with a Costa Mesa detour to The LAB and South Coast Plaza if you've still got room.
